Call for Workshop Proposals!

We invite you to submit a proposal for the 2015 Adolescent Sexuality Conference, Healthy Bodies, Minds & Communities.  This year’s event will be held, April 13th & 14th in beautiful Seaside, Oregon.

We are committed to creating a conference that addresses a broad range of issues and information that affect and impact adolescents and their communities, and we invite you to create a workshop that will fit with this year’s theme, Healthy Bodies, Minds & Communities.  We are seeking workshops that address the basic elements of youth sexual health and explore the subject without judgment. Youth are active partners in the work we do and we value their voice and participation at the conference.  Some of the topics we are looking for include:

  • Cross Cultural Communication
  • Healthy Relationships
  • HIV/STD Prevention
  • Linking Youth Services
  • Reproductive Health
  • Teen Parenting
  • Teen Pregnancy Prevention

The conference is primarily geared toward professionals and social service providers who work with youth.  There are also sessions geared toward youth.  If the primary intended audience for your workshop is youth, please indicate this in the “Is Your Presentation Intended For” column on the proposal form.

Please submit your proposal online or download the proposal form and return on or before the November 15th deadline.  The program committee will review these proposals and will notify you if your proposal is accepted.  Electronic submission is preferred.

If you have questions or need more information, please contact Lila Duncan, Adolescent Sexuality Conference Committee, at  We look forward to receiving your proposals!
